According to research, women make up half of the UK workforce, however they still only represent 17 per cent of the IT industry (IT and Telecom Professionals). The percentage of women in technology is continually rising, with many excellent initiatives, programmes, events and articles giving a platform to and highlighting influential women within the industry.
